Tools for Your Transformation
Welcome to the heart of your carnivore and fitness journey. Here, you’ll find the exact tools I use to stay fit, healthy, and thriving at 50. Whether you’re looking for workout apps, health trackers, or diet resources, this section is loaded with everything you need to crush your goals. I’ve sifted through the noise to bring you the essentials that actually work, so you can focus on what matters—getting stronger, leaner, and feeling unstoppable.
Let’s get to work.
Must-Have tools
To ensure accurate tracking and optimisation of your progress, when you have enrolled in my coaching program you are required to have the following tools and apps:
- Freeletics App: I have written an extensive article why the Freeletics app is such an important part of your program if you don’t use a Personal Trainer or Crossfit as your workout plan.
- Fitness Tracker: Find out why a Fitness Tracker is indispendable for your program.
- Biometric Scale: A biometric scale is a very valuable tool as it provides detailed insights into body composition, including body fat percentage and muscle mass to see if you are on the right track.
- Sleep App: Read here to find out more about the benefits of a sleeping app.
- Blood Pressure Monitor: Learn more how a blood pressure monitor helps you keep your health in check.
- Yoga Mat: Get a minimum 5mm thick yoga mat to support your body during workouts.
- Measuring Tape: This is a valuable tool as it allows you to track specific body measurements at the start and end of your program, providing tangible results. This helps you visualise progress and stay motivated.
Nice-To-Have tools
Consider purchasing the following optional tools and equipment as they will maximise the effectiveness of your coaching program.
- Food App: I recommend Cronometer, available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Kitchen Scale: An accurate kitchen scale which measures down to at least 5 grams is indispensable for gaining better insights into your dietary intake. By precisely measuring your food, you ensure the best results from your coaching program.
- Water Tracker App: This helps ensure you stay properly hydrated, which is crucial for overall health, energy levels, and optimal physical performance. By tracking daily water intake, you can maintain hydration goals and support your fitness and wellness journey effectively.
- Yoga App: To increase flexibility I highly recommend you follow at least two 45 minute Yin yoga classes per week. My favourite yoga app is Down Dog which is available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Whey protein & creatine: Protein and creatine will help you recover faster. My favourite supplier is MyProtein. Use my referral link to get 10€ discount on your order!
- Resistance bands, foam roller, ab roller and pull up bar: These tools, used in combination with the Freeletics App, provide a multitude of extra warm-up, cool-down, and workout exercises, enhancing the effectiveness and variety of your fitness routine so you will see results faster.
